Russia's Second Largest E-Commerce Company Ozon Evacuates Warehouse After Ukrainian Drone Alert

Russia's second-largest e-commerce company, Ozon, temporarily evacuated one of its warehouses in the town of Zelenodolsk in the Tatarstan region on Friday following a Ukrainian drone alert. The company said the evacuation was completed within minutes and no injuries were reported.

Ozon confirmed that the logistics center was not damaged and has since resumed normal operations. Verified video footage showed a plume of white smoke rising near the warehouse, while unverified clips circulating on social media appeared to show employees rushing out of the facility before a drone crashed nearby, triggering a loud explosion. The incident comes as Ukraine continues long-range drone strikes targeting Russian logistics and infrastructure. Since July 18, Ukraine has repeatedly targeted warehouses belonging to Ozon's main competitor, Wildberries, in an effort to disrupt supply chains and weaken Russia's consumer economy amid the ongoing conflict.
