Dramatic police footage shows the moment a car crashed into a kebab shop in Stoke-on-Trent, England causing part of the building to collapse.
The incident occurred on July 20, 2025, when 21-year-old Daniel Mohammed lost control of the vehicle and smashed into Rose Fast Food, Staffordshire Police said.
Mohammed was reportedly using his mobile phone while driving and was not insured to operate the car. A passenger in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police released footage of the crash as Mohammed was sentenced to two years and two months in prison on May 29.
The impact caused significant structural damage to the takeaway, which has remained closed since the incident. The building that housed Rose Fast Food was eventually demolished because of the damage.
Authorities said the case highlights the potentially devastating consequences of distracted and uninsured driving.
